Downtown Reading is set to come alive with lights, music, fitness, food, and community spirit on Saturday, Oct. 12, as it hosts the second annual Glow Block Party. The Glow Block Party is in collaboration with Nemesis Fitness’s fourth annual Free Community Glow Run, which is a 5K that is part of an annual series of free-themed community fun runs hosted by the local run club. It is a widely popular event, with an average of over 1,000 participants registering for each run. The City’s Downtown Reading Division is excited to light up the night in Downtown Reading for a second year by hosting a glow block party event where visitors, runners and non-runners alike, can enjoy family-friendly entertainment, fun glow activities, music, local mascots, a photo booth, delicious food, and beverages from local businesses, making it an event for all ages.
