READING, Pa. – Two individuals involved in the fatal shooting of a teen in Brookline Park are headed to prison.
Berks County District Attorney John Adams announced Thursday that Anthony Boria and Henry Madera, Jr. were each found guilty of third-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, perjury, false swearing and firearms not to be carried without a license following a two-day bench trial. The pair were found not guilty of conspiracy.
On March 14, 2022, authorities received reports of a large fight in Reading’s Brookline Park involving anywhere from 15 to 30 individuals.
Police arrived to find 18-year-old Amiere Bibbs dead from a gunshot wound. Three other students involved in the fight were shot as well…
