Brendan Sullivan embraces unconventional backup role, as he heads back to his home state of Michigan

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Before transferring to Iowa, before starting his college career at Northwestern, Brendan Sullivan was a state championship-winning quarterback from Michigan.

He played at Davison high school, just an hour from East Lansing, so he’s trying to get all the tickets he can for friends and family this Saturday.

“I’m at, like, 20 (tickets) right now,” said Sullivan. “My mom said if I can get 30, get 30. We’ll keep on trying to rise ‘em, but it’ll be cool to play in front of a bunch of family.”…
