Lawmakers discuss bills designed to keep kids safe online

LANSING, MI— The father of a Marquette teen who took his own life after he was sextorted joined lawmakers Wednesday to talk about bills aimed at protecting kids while they’re online.

John DeMay, father of 17-year-old Jordan DeMay, was in Lansing to highlight two bills sponsored by Representatives John Fitzgerald and Jenn Hill.
