Michigan State has most of its 2025 recruiting class filled out already but is looking for some final pieces to complete it. One position that they would like to add some additional firepower at is in the defensive backfield.
Currently, Michigan State has three defensive back commitments from California cornerback LaRue Zamorano, Florida cornerback George Mullins, and Maryland cornerback Aydan West. All three could project to either corner or safety at Michigan State, as defensive backs coach Blue Adams and cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin prefer versatile defensive backs who can project throughout the secondary based on development and need for the team.
