LARGO — The Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade returned to downtown Largo last weekend following a one-year hiatus after severe thunderstorms washed out the Rotary Club’s annual festivities in December 2023.
The weather was crisp and clear this year, however, and fresh on the heels of back-to-back hurricanes that devastated the Tampa Bay area in the fall, the anticipation was high, and excitement was palpable among the large crowd that lined the parade route on a sunny Dec. 21 afternoon.
