LARGO — Pinellas County readers received an early Christmas gift this year as the Book Rescuers, a popular Pinellas Park used book reseller, recently moved into new headquarters at 8325 Ulmerton Road in Largo.
The endeavor was started by George and Sarah Brooks after the pandemic squashed their furniture business and the couple learned book resellers were dumping thousands of pounds of “worthless” books every week.
