LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) — An award-winning actress is scheduled to speak at New Mexico State University on Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. Helen Hunt has won an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in “As Good As It Gets,” a romantic comedy movie from 1997.
Albuquerque church opens first ‘Safe Outdoor Space’ in International District
The talk at Mark Medoff Theater on NMSU campus will be hosted by Creative Media Institute Professor Ross Marks. Hunt will speak to students about her career in film and television as part of the Las Cruces International Film Festival.
Hunt is currently in production on a movie with Dustin Hoffman. One of her accolades includes earning four Emmys, four Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in the TV series “Mad About You.” Most recently, she’s been in “I See You” and “The Night Clerk.” Outside of acting, Hunt has also written, directed, and produced.
