Insteel Industries subsidiary Insteel Wire Products Co. has acquired Engineered Wire Products of Upper Sandusky, Ohio in a $70 million asset transaction. EWP operates wire drawing, welding and mesh fabrication facilities in Warren, Ohio and Las Cruces, N.M., supplying reinforcement products for cast-in-place or precast concrete used in residential and nonresidential construction. The company reported $93.3 million in sales for the 12-month period ending September 30.
