For those looking to finely hone their written craft, Las Cruces Public Libraries has rolled out an invitation to local scribes of all genres. The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is set to host a creative writing program, “Creative Writers Unite,” ensuring that the community’s storytellers have a spot to collaborate and sharpen their pencils – and prose. The upcoming sessions are scheduled for April 2 and April 16, designed to be a bi-monthly gathering kicking off at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month, according to the City of Las Cruces.
Located at 200 E. Picacho Ave. and easily accessible via Roadrunner Transit Route 1, the Branigan Library Board Room will serve as the creative hub during these sessions. The initiative aims to inclusively assemble adult writers, though the doors are warmly open to the teen literati as well.
