On Wednesday last week, a pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle on West Desert Inn Road, west of South Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas. The collision occurred at around 3:50 p.m., according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Surveillance footage and evidence show that a 2010 Ford F-150, driven by 51-year-old Angela Haney of Las Vegas, was traveling eastbound when it struck a 92-year-old male pedestrian. The pedestrian, who was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk, entered the Ford’s lane unexpectedly, leading to the collision. The pedestrian was hit and thrown onto the road.
