State law hinders fixing inner-city teacher gaps: CCSD report

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Over the years, the Clark County School District has been dealing with a high number of teacher openings in some of its inner-city schools.

In a report, the district submitted to the Nevada Board of Education, CCSD pointed the finger at a 2017 state law for being a “significant barrier” in addressing those vacancies.
