WASHINGTON (7News) — A shooting claimed the life of a man a day after Christmas in Southeast, D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
On Thursday, officials said officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 2700 block of Fairlawn Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, officials said they found a man, later identified as 41-year-old Lamar Edmonds, suffering from a gunshot wound.
