DC police investigating after man killed in Southeast shooting

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Detectives in D.C. are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot in Southeast on Sunday morning.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that on Dec. 22 around 7:20 a.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Q Street for a shooting. This is near Triangle Park.

Once on the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot injuries, unconscious and not breathing.
