A Jones County man who had been drinking brandy and Budweiser crashed into a cop car on Tuesday night, injuring the officer, according to the report.
Keith Arrington, 50, of Heidelberg was charged with first-offense DUI after a breath test showed that his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when the 2021 Kia Soul he was driving on Highway 84 West slammed into a 2022 Dodge Charger Laurel Police Department cruiser that was coming off Hillcrest Drive just before 7 p.m.
