Topekans can soon ice skate in at Stormont Vail Events Center

TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Topekans are welcome to ice skate at Stormont Vail Events Center later this month.

With ice hockey coming back to the capital city, a large ice rink will soon be available to the public. Stormont Vail Events Center is opening the rink up to the public after the ice hockey games at the end of January, early February 2025 in Landon Arena.

The Stormont Vail Events Center reports the public skating session is open to people of all ages. Public ice skating will start after the opening Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) game on Jan. 24 and run through to Sunday, Feb 2.
