Taylorsville police search for person who reportedly ‘slashed’ 2 men after asking for money

TAYLORSVILLE — Police said Friday they were still looking for a person who they say reportedly “slashed” two men with a knife after being “upset” about the amount of money they gave him Thursday night.

At about 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery near 4200 South and 2600 West. They arrived to find two men with “deep slash wounds,” according to Taylorsville Police Lt. Aaron Cheshire.

The men told police they had been driving along 2700 West when they pulled over because of a mechanical issue. They said they were standing outside of the vehicle when a tall, skinny, white man wearing a hoodie approached them and asked for money, Cheshire said…
