On Saturday, the Minersville Area Boys Soccer team faced off against North Schuylkill in a match on the Spartans’ home turf.
Both teams brought energy and intensity, but it was North Schuylkill who came out on top, securing a 3-1 victory.
The game kicked off with North Schuylkill striking first. Max Helwig found the back of the net with 18:21 left in the first half, giving the Spartans an early lead. Minersville responded with a goal from Jordan Bowers at the 11:48 mark, tying the game 1-1.
