Family starts fundraiser for funeral of man killed by speeding driver in Harrisburg

Family members are asking for the community’s help to raise money for the funeral of a Harrisburg man in a wheelchair killed by a speeding driver on Second Street over the weekend.

Eusebio Forestier, 68, was using a motorized wheelchair on the 300 block of North Second Street around 3 p.m. Sunday, when the driver of a small SUV swerved across northbound traffic lanes and crashed into him on the sidewalk, police said.

Police said Forestier was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV’s driver was taken to a hospital with critical injuries…
