Miller Foundation awards $25 million for Salt Lake County arts center

Utah’s Salt Lake County has announced a $25 million grant from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation in support of a new regional arts center south of Salt Lake City.

The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center in South Jordan will be managed and operated by the Salt Lake County arts and culture division and include an 800-seat proscenium theater as well as an art gallery and classroom space dedicated to fostering creativity and learning. Construction will begin in 2026 and is expected to be completed by early 2028.
