Authorities Search for North Fort Myers Man After Warrant Issued

Emerson Armstrong, a 31-year-old man from North Fort Myers, is once again making headlines, but not for anything positive. After serving 13 months in jail for a string of serious crimes, he is back in trouble for violating the terms of his probation. Authorities are now actively searching for him, and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

According to NBC2, Armstrong’s criminal record includes a variety of offenses, from breaking into homes and stealing personal items to more serious thefts like stealing a pickup truck. He was also caught taking items as seemingly random as credit cards and even a Mickey Mouse bag. But his criminal activities didn’t stop there. Armstrong has also been in trouble for driving without a license and violating a restraining order. Two offenses that only added to his legal troubles.

After getting busted with all that stolen stuff, authorities were able to return many of the victims’ belongings. The North Fort Myers man was convicted and served his time in the Lee County Jail. Just under two months ago, he was released on probation, hoping to reintegrate into society. However, it didn’t take long for him to slip up again. Now, he faces a probation violation, which has led to the issuance of a new arrest warrant.
