Delaware’s hospital review board, at center of lawsuit, sees first members approved

The Delaware State Senate selected the first members of the Diamond State Hospital Cost Review Board at a special session in Dover Monday.

The board was established in June when Gov. John Carney signed House Bill 350 into law. Seven of the eight board members are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Senate. The board members will serve a two or three-year term initially, before locking into staggered four-year terms.
