GEORGETOWN — Via waivers, a $1.1 million purchase agreement for property on which the town’s police and Public Works departments will be built was approved by officials Monday.
Town Council members Tony Neal, Christina Diaz-Malone and Eric Evans joined Mayor Bill West in moving forward the purchase for 2.66 acres on University Drive. Councilman Penuel Barrett was absent.
