The 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Richmond team stayed close to home this weekend. The team attended Good Fight Sub-Only in London, KY. 25 Kids, teens, and adults from 10th Planet Richmond competed. For many of them it was their first time on the competition mats. Although many of the competitors were beginners, the team performance was fantastic and almost all brought home individual medals at this submission only competition.
The Kids team scored a total of 160 points in Gi and 168 points in NoGi, taking the title of Kids/Teens Team Champion in both divisions. The adult team even though comprised of all white belt beginner’s division competitors took 6th place out of 19 teams in Gi, scoring 29 points and 2nd place out of 20 teams in NoGi with 71 points.
