3 face obstruction of justice charges in connection with disappearance of Lexington woman

LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — Three people were arrested on obstruction of justice charges after a woman went missing in Lexington in late September .

On Tuesday, Lexington police say they arrested Van Ly Lam, 51, of Greensboro, Vienchan Lam, 49, of Salisbury, and Jonathan Lam, 30, of Salisbury.

The police department says the arrests are “directly related to the Lexington Police Department’s investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Bunly,” according to a news release. LPD did not elaborate on how the obstruction of justice charges are connected to the missing person case.

Van Ly Lam was served orders for arrest on true bills of indictment for three felony counts of obstruction of justice. He received a $200,000 secured bond.
