Winston-Salem’s A Blessing Connection Center will host a vaccine clinic

On Wednesday, a Winston-Salem-based nonprofit is offering free flu and COVID-19 vaccines to residents as the holiday season nears.

The volunteer-run A Blessing Connection Center was founded as a food pantry in 2022.

The center’s director, Angelica Espinal, said flu shots will be available to anyone. COVID-19 vaccines, which can cost upwards of $60 per dose, will be given only to uninsured individuals…
