If South Carolina had a game to play this Saturday, the Gamecocks would have a long list of players designated as “questionable.”
Luckily for coach Shane Beamer, the Gamecocks went from a blowout win over Akron into their first bye week of the season. For a number of players, it’s a much-needed extra week of rest and healing before South Carolina plays Ole Miss on Oct. 5.
