USC schedules groundbreaking on Health Sciences Campus in Columbia

The University of South Carolina will break ground on the site of its new School of Medicine Columbia this week.

The university says the facility will redefine the future of health care education and research. Construction begins officially during the 3 p.m. ceremony Thursday, Jan. 23, at the USC Health Sciences Campus in the BullStreet District, 2700 block of Colonial Drive, according to an announcement from USC.
