For the 6th time this year DV Continental played up a division and as they have all year struggled with the bigger school. The Pirates finished off their season 1-4-1 against the DIV teams. On Saturday the MaxPrep top ranked DIV Boys Soccer team Liberty Benton came to Continental for a non league game. It was all Eagles as the Pirates struggled to get off shots while the Eagles controlled the action. The Eagles put in 4 goals in the first half most of them coming from well placed crossing passes. The Eagles held the Pirates scoreless the first half. The second half had the Eagles double their score with 4 more goals but the Pirates got on the board with 14:15 left when Rhettik Bowers took a pass and dribbled between a pair of Eagle defenders and put a shot around the goalie that hit the back of the net. Eagles 8-1.
