(FOX40.COM) — A week after laying off several hundred more employees in the Sacramento region, global technologies company Intel announced they would sell their Folsom campus.
Intel says the sale is part of a company-wide mission to reduce the amount of unused space and “foster greater in-person collaboration.”

The sale of the sprawling campus does not mean a complete farewell to Folsom’s largest employer as the company plans to lease back a portion of the current space, according to Intel.
This announcement follows the layoff of 272 Folsom-based employees on Nov. 15 in what the company said in October is a “strategy to become a leaner, simpler and more agile company.”…
