Two individuals with outstanding felony warrants in Nevada were caught in Nevada County during an early morning traffic stop, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office reports. The arrest took place on Rough and Ready Highway after a patrol sergeant pulled over a car with expired registration and fake tags yesterday.
According to a social media post from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle’s driver, Michael Joseph Gunter, 40, of Portland, Oregon, and the passenger, Laura Ashley Adams, 35, of Auburn, were confirmed to have active warrants for their arrest from Nevada.
