A Bay Area scammer who was trying to steal thousands of dollars from a Grass Valley woman was arrested by deputies when he came to collect the cash, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said 39-year-old Qi Lin of San Francisco was arrested on Friday for his part in a phone scam conspiracy.
