Foley talks kicker competition, hopes for improved return game

It was a year of ups and downs for the Huskers special teams unit in 2023. While the team was second in the nation with four blocked kicks, they also struggled mightily in the return game.

The Huskers gained a paltry 48 total yards on 16 tries to finish 117th nationally in the return game last year. Injuries to Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda and Billie Kemp IV pushed Nebraska far down the depth chart in search of a competent return man.
