LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Husker fans will pour into Memorial Stadium on Friday night, forming the sea of red in the stands.
That means the Lincoln Police Department is gearing up for the wave of headlights and beeping horns in the aftermath of the football game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
“It’s going to be difficult to get cars through, so we just ask people to to be a little patient,” Capt. Don Scheinost, heading up the LPD Southwest Team, said. “Understand that the officers are doing the best they can.”…
