TOWN OF CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Amazon Fulfillment Center on Morgan Road in Clay is experiencing a record-breaking peak season.

Last week, the center shipped nearly five million units over seven days. On average, the center ships between 720,000 and 750,000 units daily, but had a record-breaking 800,000 units shipped out in one day last week.
“This is our peak season when we do the most volume, the most amount of goods into our buildings,” Dhiren Patel, a senior operations manager, said. “Every site, regardless of if it’s in Syracuse or somewhere else in the world, we’re pushing out the most volume in the world in the history of Amazon.”
