SYRACUSE, N.Y. — An unoccupied single-family house on Elliot Street in Syracuse caught fire on Thursday evening.
The Syracuse Fire Department said crews were dispatched to 417 Elliot St. around 10:45 p.m. When firefighters arrived just two minutes after the initial call, flames were visible from the windows.
