Baldwinsville, N.Y. — The frosted glass windows by the front door still say The Fireside Inn, a last homage to Fireside by the River’s past life.
But inside, Fireside by the River bears little resemblance to its predecessor, a private event space that had been a fixture in the Baldwinsville area since opening many decades ago. Gone are the plain white walls, carpeted floors, and fabric-wrapped banquet chairs in the main first-floor bar and dining room.
