SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) – Happy Thursday, Utah! A ridge of high pressure is building over the area, bringing dry, stable weather.
Valley inversions are setting in with more haze than expected. Temperatures will be warmer than normal, with upper 40s to low 50s expected along the Wasatch Front and low 60s expected in southern Utah with a bit more warming Friday in higher elevations.
By Saturday, inversions deepen, leading to more haze, especially in urban areas. A weak system Saturday night might stir things up a bit, but it won’t clear the haze completely. Another weak system Sunday night into Monday could bring light rain or snow to northern Utah.
A brief warm-up Tuesday will be followed by a stronger storm around Christmas, but there’s still some uncertainty…
