Case dismissed against Garland City man accused of traveling to Logan park to have sex with teen girl

LOGAN — The case against a 47-year-old Garland City man accused of driving to a Logan park to have sex with an undercover officer, posing as a 13-year-old girl, has been dismissed by a judge. Brian Don Littledike, who was arrested in July 2023, has been found incompetent to stand trial.

Littledike appeared Monday, Sept. 23 in Logan’s 1st District Court. He was previously charged with two counts of attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony; and four counts of enticing a minor, a second-degree felony

Judge Spencer Walsh said he had received a report from mental health professionals at the Utah State Hospital, where Littledike had been receiving treatment. The doctors had concluded the defendant was unable to understand the legal process or assist in his defense due to a developmental disability. They also reported that even with treatment they wouldn’t be able to restore his competency…
