Marsha Kidd Hanson, a Preston local, was 65 years old when she received her breast cancer diagnosis — an event that created a change in her outlook on life for years to come.
Now, Hanson is trying to share what she learned throughout her battle with cancer to provide some peace and encouragement for others afflicted.
“Once the initial shock wore off,” Hanson writes in her recent book, “I was determined to not only keep pace in the face of this challenge, but to successfully maneuver through the journey, and regardless of the outcome, to emerge as a true cancer warrior.”…
