SCOTTDALE, Ga. A reward of up to $150,000 is being offered by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed a postal employee at the Scottdale Post Office on Dec. 20.

The robbery happened around 5:07 p.m. at the post office located at 3328 E. Ponce De Leon Avenue. According to investigators, an unknown man entered the facility and robbed an employee working at the counter.

Authorities have described the suspect as a Black male with a brown complexion, believed to be in his mid-to-late 40s. He is about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a dark blue shirt, dark blue pants, a green reflective vest, and a mesh fisherman-style hat.
