COBB COUNTY, Ga. – The Cobb County Police Department says it has apprehended three murder suspects within a span of 30 days, according to a press release sent to FOX 5 Atlanta.
The first arrest reportedly occurred on Nov. 2 when officers received a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for a suspect accused of killing one person, wounding two others, and assaulting a five-year-old child. Cobb PD says it used advanced technology to track the suspect, driving a silver Honda Pilot, to White Boulevard in Cobb County. Officers spotted the vehicle leaving a residence and, after a brief pursuit through a McDonald’s parking lot, apprehended the suspect. A weapon linked to the crime was also recovered.
Just 10 days later, on Nov. 12, officers apprehended another suspect wanted for failure to appear in a homicide case, according to the police department. A high-speed chase ensued after the suspect attempted to flee, resulting in a crash and a foot pursuit. While the driver was captured that night, a passenger evaded capture temporarily but was found the next morning hiding in nearby woods. …
