LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — A man was seriously wounded after someone reportedly shot him in self-defense at a London, Kentucky home on Monday night, according to a release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to Hooppole Creek Road after receiving reports that a man had been shot. After arriving at the scene, LCSO said two people claimed a man had assaulted them. They said the man accused in the assault reached for a gun and was shot by another man in self-defense.
