LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The last few weeks of weather in Wave country can be described as cold and unpredictable. With more winter weather on the way for us and other parts of the country, doctors warn of the risk of frostbite and hypothermia.
On average, Kentucky sees its coldest temperatures in January. The coldest on the record was 22 below 0 in 1994. While WAVE Country isn’t expecting to get that low with the incoming cold snap, the risks for frostbite and hypothermia are concerning.
