A terminally ill woman asked for “one thing” from her adult daughter before she died: to let her be her mom one last time.
It’s been more than four years since Kristi Deatherage Johnson from Kentucky lost her mom, Rebecca Creager Deatherage, following a three-year battle against stage 4 cancer. “She was a big personality and deeply loved,” Johnson told Newsweek.
