LONDON, KY – Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Zach Allen along with Detective Tommy Houston arrested Shane Purvis age 44 of London on Tuesday afternoon October 29, 2024 at approximately 4:27 PM.
The arrest occurred on KY 490 approximately 3 miles north of London following a traffic stop conducted on a black Chevrolet Silverado that nearly struck Detective Houston’s cruiser while making an illegal turn and then traveling in the wrong lane of traffic at the intersection KY 490 and North Laurel Rd.
