DENVER (KDVR) — Roofers in Fort Collins were working in the right place at the right time to help firefighters rescue two dogs from a 2-alarm fire.
Poudre Fire Authority said the fire occurred at a home in the 1500 block of Windcreek Court on Thursday morning. No people were home at the time of the fire, but two dogs were inside.
Two roofers were down the street when they saw smoke and called 911. PFA said the roofers knocked on the doors of the house, trying to alert anyone who might be inside.
