Peace, love and celebration were in the air as Kilgore Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual “Women In Business” awards ceremony at the Texan Theater.
Sponsored by Republic Services, Starfish Ad Age, Arpco Legacy Enterprises, Patterson Kilgore and Verabank, the 70s-themed event was awash in tie-dye, paisley prints and peace signs as the Chamber presented three awards: the Rising Star Award, the Shining Star Award and the Lifetime Star Achievement Award last week.
