Friday marked Terrell Smith’s last day as Marshall’s city manager. He reflects on his experiences in Marshall as a first time city manager in a farewell letter to residents.
His letter:
Whenever you do anything for the first time there is always a fear of failure, and a fear of the unknown. Today marks my final day as city manager for the City of Marshall, and as I reflect on my time here I am proud of the work we’ve completed over the last two and a half years. As a first time city manager, I am forever grateful to the City Council for trusting me to serve as the city manager.
