To keep playing or rest a while, that is the question? Guardians takeaways

CLEVELAND, Ohio — After Sunday’s season finale against the Astros, an oasis awaits the Guardians.

They will have five days to rest, heal and reorganize before the baseball begins again. They earned it by winning the American League Central and one of the top two seeds in the league.

Baseball players, however, are creatures of habit. The only time they get an extended break during a 162-game season is at the All-Star Game. Other than that they play nearly every day.
